Verve Paintings

Hi, would like to share this painting I made in Verve back in 2014. I meant to share it earlier but never got around to it, and i haven't used Verve in a long time. I heard that there will be a new update with improvements, that's exciting and it reminded me to finally share this painting here. Its a painting from a photo I found online. If you want to see it in higher resolution and a short gif of the process, you can find it on my website at this link here https://tzartdesign.com/saxophone-player/

Hey Taron, have you ever considered creating a VR implementation? Im not sure how much work it would take, but Unreal Engine 5 is very user friendly. By the way, thank you for the great painting simulation software. I'm looking forward to trying out the improvements once the new version drops and making some more great paintings with it.

8-)

That's fantastic, kriyator! :bounce: c:!
Well, I don't know about VR just, yet, but it could be a fun exploration eventually. First there will come a v1.0 of Verve and then we shall see! :ugeek:
Thanks for finally sharing this excellent work of art, really, great job! I hope you'll get to make and share a lot more of them with Verve.

In the meantime: Welcome to the forum!

Awesome, glad to hear that your open minded about it. There is a VR painting app called Vermillion. Funnily enough when I first found out about it, I thought Verve was related to it cause of the name :D

Feel free to use the painting or any part of it as a promotional image if you like and if it helps in any way. Happy that you like it and thanks for the warm welcome as well!

Got any any ideas on an ETA for version 1.0?

Thanks, kri, that's very kind!
I have no idea yet, when I'll have 1.0 ready, but hopefully sometime this year.

Awesome and well done. Nice to see you've been at it for a while, and you improved too!

I Just tried it now, thanks for the heads up. Played around with it for a bit and it seems to run smooth as a web based app. Seem like a lighter version of Verve.

Impressive articulation of a clothing characteristics with a brushes of Verve c:!
Don't wait for wishful VR to explore Verve - it is so good already for what it is even now.

Thanks Intars. simplification is the key. I have always been inspired by the great masters in their skills of achieving realism with minimal effort, I try to follow in their steps, :D. One such master you might know of, was Singer Sargent.

Yeah, we don't need a VR version, but I brought it up out of curiosity. VR is going to keep growing and getting better, and its a very engaging experience making art in virtual reality as well.
