Everybody's First Doodle

Hi everyone, here's a classic thread to share your first doodle with Verve. It doesn't matter what it looks like, really, but it'll make a great trip down memory-lane later on. :?
I used to really love this thread on the Sculptris forum...before people started posting giant images that made no sense at all...but, uhm...feel free to be humble and sincere here! :D

I wished I could tell what would've been my first doodle, but- uhm- I can't tell at what point I even gave the software a name, hahaha.

Ok, I'll kick it off with this then:

My 1st attempt was a little timid as I wanted to get a feel for the unique qualities of the program and brushes. I'm still exploring those and look forward to doing more.

I still love it! As a bit of trivia; that was the first picture I've seen anyone else do with Verve. By default that gives it a special place in my heart, but- regardless- I think it has a certain something, like a tiger-tree of sorts, but with a certain culture attached to it that transcends digital doodle immediately. As I said, I love it! :D

THANK YOU for posting it, Ken! :)

Well it's working far enough on my card that I can do this much, albeit in monotone

Bloody great! Thanks, Teh_Bucket, where there's a will, there's perfect spirit! :D
I've done a whole bunch of Relief paintings a while back and still enjoy doing those. Apparently you can still move the light source for certain effects and also color it differently, so you can get more complexity into it. Material control appears to be working, too, which comes as somewhat of a shock to me, but that should allow you to do even more stuff. Not sure, if the layers work? But then you could do something completely wicked, like giving each layer a different color. Give it a try?! Hehe...I know it is madness, but hey... lemonade!
