Re: With verve into the light

Boy, oh, boy, I love them Shroomies, haha, they're AWESOME! :D
Yeah, I can't wait to hook up nice preset systems for everything. Verve can most certainly offer great graphite look, too, especially because I've done something rather different with my canvas texture than other apps have, I believe. There's almost a more physical interaction with the bumps, though, I think, I should likely offer some more behavior options.
Here to help! :D

Knacki, I love your last drawings. made with Brush #9? I see, that brush #9 reacts very very nice with canavas structures, the other brushes sometimes/often not so good.

Only Brush#9 interacts with the canvas during painting. All others only interact during smudging, Zero! But then they all do it the same, actually, so... yeah.

Re: With verve into the light

Interesting - never really realized the difference, but should have noticed.
Yes #9, zero.

Ink stuff I used #2, as it has more "output"...well - without reacting with canvas...understanding is sometimes slow.

Here another ink test.
Selfmade canvas was gone, so I made a new one. This time I was clever enough to switch on oscillate & oscillate chaos. Now only ~200 clicks not also mouse moves are necessary.

For good watercolor / ink effect the canvas structure is essential. This is what also our, hopefully not forever gone, member rcpongo discovered, very early. Still his watercolor simulations are some of the best every done in verve.

Unfortunately it seems that selfmade canvas structure are not saved anymore. It was gone again, after reloading.

Re: With verve into the light

I enjoy the conversation with supertrash very much, and I am very happy having him on board giving this forum another touch.
So he also reminded me, for what I initially created the stipples canvas.

Unfortunately I am still short in time but at least a little sketch from mind.
Don't know if I ever met her.
I met a princess from Saudi Arabia once (calm down - they have plenty), but she was looking very different.
Maybe in another life?
