Ahh! This sounds very good!
I am quite sure that this will work out way better for you. Promised.
I you are able to let it go.
It’s not super easy. I am a bit similar, I am afraid.

Good luck to you and for your project.

Thanks, Knacki! Yeah, I have no good experience with "letting go" of something that I know can be so much more. You may know that I wrote the first fully digital fluid dynamics 3d fire in movie history, but "letting go" simply pushed me out of the picture and all that I could've grown from and with it. It's such an ugly world out there and people love to just harvest powerful visions without knowing the true potential behind it and what else it can become. Verve is more than just a fluid dynamics painter, for underneath it is a philosophy that yet has to manifest elsewhere. I can't wait for the right time to bring forth what it really means. Some of it I don't even know myself, because it will tell me where else it wishes to go. I just know- or at least have a certain mindset- to listen to it. There are others like me out there, awesome programmers beyond my wildest imagination, but they can listen to another channel and only they can understand the messages, so to say. So... I also can't wait for the day until we can all collaborate productively to show what humans can accomplish together with care.

I just wanted to say, that you don't have to do everything on your own, that it could be even better for you, if you free yourself from certain tasks of daily programmer life.
That's what I meant by let it go.
No, I didn't know that you are father of 3D fluid fire simulation

Hehe, yeah, it was a wild time. At some point the people around me thought I could do anything and simply came to me with anything like it was no problem for me, haha. Of course, I groomed that idea early on and somehow never managed to curb the impression, hahahaha... man, that sounds arrogant. But, yeah, tis been them days. Until I had enough, really. It wasn't that I burned out, but simply that ...ah...I'm totally hijacking your fantastic gallery thread. No, no, no! :uhuhuh: :)

Hahaha -
this one is not painted in verve, but I tried to mimick verve brilliant and logic philosophy.

Now, we can go ahead, taron :D

Edit. I.e. texture.
How logical to have all the intelligence right in the canvas texture - and no, it is not obvious that erasing needs an inverted behaviour of painting. Paint sticks in deeper parts, eraser starts at higher parts of canvas.
Really cool taron.

Yep! And there's more! My texture actually rubs off paint naturally, making pencil like behavior and chalk much more natural or logical for that matter. But I wanted to add more to all that later, too... absorption and all that. It's not just a simple trick as it is and it shows. It's stuff I always thought was bad in all simulations I knew.
LOOKS COOL! Very nice! :ob

It is good to have you back, Knacki! And your comments about development are welcomed too, mainly when push Taron on more activity on Verve :hihi: But yeah, I understand Taron, to enjoy additional work on Verve its needed to have more living Verve forum. I feel my false too. The right time will come, I know it!

In any case, absolutely delight for me to see your BW paintings Knacki! AMAZING! c:! BTW I recognized Gary Oldman for the first time, even I didnt read your image description!

Thank you guys.
You know, what I miss most are the kind persons of this forum including the likeable host on earth.

I just can’t repeat it often enough: without verve I would not paint or draw these days.
And of course without the warm feedback from all of you. Of course taron first, who commented almost anything I posted in a very nice and motivational way. That said, I already feel very said about my critics in verve development.
Could have been done more politely.

Here is a small selection of my recent stuff. I hope it will be recognise able.100kb? That’s the mobile world fuck, but getting better.
I should have used Affinity photo...let me check.......ahhhh. Better.

Oooh, AMAZING selection Knacki! What great results!! I like them all.  c:!

With no doubts, Taron and you are the hearts of this forum. Both of you bring a little bit of warmth to a "normal" life. Your "pushing" and asking Taron is good because a developer of a free application constantly needs to know that there is someone who needs more from it...
