Oh, it's a lot of work, but it will open the gates to overcome limitations and redundant struggles.

Oh? That sounds that the next Verve Update is still a long and a hard process? How can we support the progress? Some ideas? I would even pay for verve maybe ts better to made a small company - with 2-4 other professionals? I'm sorry just my suggestion I know, verve was a gift for us all - freeware, but I'm longing for an update too

btw. c++ is very hard to learn

My roadmap is goes: Jump into my sweet mental hot rod and off we go altogether!
C++ is generally only has hard as you make it. I'm enjoying the powerful class magic and am already excited to get a crisp and clean Verve code together. There are almost exclusively advantages and I'm taking them all!

After this big round, we shall see how I proceed with the financial aspect of it all. If anything, I will most certainly maintain a free version, but with C++ and dropping all limits, I could imagine to put together a pro version, too, besides going cross platform. It will remain part of my mission, though, to make sure that nobody will fall short in the "regular" version! While I love the donation concept, I think, it could also come with a bribe, hihihi...if you know what I mean?!

ok, my birthday is on 22. september too - I will get 40 years old ... so sad - I don't like celebrate that
