Re: Feedback v0.99v.31

thats great dear taron ... but I read in other digitalart forums - that a painter never should take 100% white / 100% black :hihi: because it looks weird .. and if you want making art for games - true black and white looks in 3D often weird too ... and if you have total white on your shape e.g. you can not add more highlight e.g.

Re: Feedback v0.99v.31

Oh yes, that's great, let me remove the ability to dial colors to 0,0,0 or 1.0,1.0,1.0. That's a brilliant suggestion! :hihi:
While we're at it, don't touch the red on the screen, because it could be vermilion, which is highly toxic! :uhuhuh:
You should also never make a straight line in art...oh wait, that's already a given!
I will wait until the first of April to do this changes, Zero! ;)

Hm, okay :) you are right - some digital painters are also saying 'do not use 3D" - but why not? Its a nice plus for my (future-) paintings - maybe not so in anatomic - but great in architecture, vehicles - I like also more to made my constructions in moi3d like in photoshop :ob - rough or simple constructions are okay in 2D.

Really, Zero, there are no rules!
Except possibly this one: Enjoy yourself being creative! c:!
As for black and white, that's mostly a problem for broadcast or projections. There's also no real need to go all black or all white. It takes some time to learn how best to deal with contrast. Everything, at the end, is relative, too. To me, playing with dynamics is the holy grail of art. To do this right, you have to understand that your eyes hardly ever see the whole picture, but wonder around it. That means that each location you look at can have its own dynamics, relative to the other places on the painting. Composition is a massive and endless topic it seems.

Black is mysterious!

Do what you like. If it looks good, it looks good!

And what against photobashing, 3D mock up? Some say these, some say that, find your own truth and feel comfortable with it. Or try everything and have fun.
If you want to make a living as an intellectual artist, maybe you have to justify - else?

Btw. I haven't experienced the bug so far.

Re: Feedback v0.99v.31

Photobashing I dsilike a bit - because my InternetSpeed is crazy slow. And for buying photos still to poor - still I'm just a woodworker - and woodworking isn't my real profession :( - I'm a wholsaler - but can't get go back :x

And mostly illustrators are poor too in germany, now - if someone know "Sacha Angel Diener" - he moved from Berlin to Wroclaw (Poland) some months ago. And he is good, better than me - a real pro: https://www.artstation.com/thefirstangel - he was sick for his low payed artworks - as a freelancer.

And stupid people think it will be better in Germany with supporting the AFD/PEGIDA party/movement :x and the Schulzzug - the Schulzzug you can meet in Bolivia - just search in google-images for ABBADONED TRAIN BOLIVIA pictures.

That was offtopic - sorry

There is in Verve an old bug too - If I use the MOVE function - I nearly allways have after that bad brush coordinates. Reset - mostly its okay to activate and deactivate the Move Function with - Shift+V and do nothing more - and press again Shift+V.

Re: Feedback v0.99v.31

You can exit the MOVE function by only hitting V, by the way! ;) I really don't know what you mean by "bad brush coordinates"? That's virtually impossible!
You can also have an OFF TOPIC rant about Germany in the OFF TOPIC threads, I don't mind! :hihi: ...there we can also talk about ways to make a living as an artist.

Re: Feedback v0.99v.31

I had this "black" or negative values bug yesterday for the very first time.
Bump & build up high, fluids low.
Hell, this can be annoying once there.
Will report if I get this again.

Germany, Internet, Freelance, making a living as an artist....let's go into off topic section. Maybe we'll have some interesting fun.
All I can say here is, that the last illustrator I asked for helping me in a project said he would like to have 800€ per day.
And he is getting that - well not from me ;)

If image brush is bigger than canvas = crash.
