Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Huh, strange... again the forum did not send me an email notification about new replies... so strange how that happens?!
VERY COOL STUFF!
Ed, I love how natural even the sketch looks. That's just fascinating! Almost brings out more of your style, I feel. c:!
And, YES,   I know, regarding the zoom in/out being upside down with the pen, hahaha... that's a funny one! In Photoshop CS5 it is actually the same way, if you hold space and control you zoom in by pulling down with the pen. :hihi: ...while I actually never did that before you told me! So....THEN I thought, ok, if photoshop does it this way around, then I just keep it like that for the time being. But I totally feel the same way: It feels wrong! And there's one more thing, which is to lock the panning while zooming. Haven't done that, yet, either.

On MAC, which is yet another weirdness, the mouse wheel works the other way around, too, where scrolling down on the wheel scrolls the pages up??? :ud: ...I haven't even checked what happens in Vervette there?!

But, yes, it will all be addressed, including the [Ctrl]+[Space} rather than [Shift]+[Space]. :ugeek:

Pilou, the black marble look is really interesting! :ob

Hi Taron,
well it's quite not critical if it is "Ctrl Space" or Shift Space" you know
Taron wrote:On MAC, which is yet another weirdness, the mouse wheel works the other way around, too, where scrolling down on the wheel scrolls the pages up???

yes I taught design on Mac, and students 99% of the times switched that awkward mouse config of mac.
The only time I remember that sort of thing working right was in StarFox, where pressing the "Down" button moved the plane up, and viceversa xD

PD: Cool the last one Pilou, kinda reminds me the colors of the bubble reflections, congrats.

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

The biggest problem is always "habit". Since most use photoshop and many painters adhered to its navigation concept in one way or another, it would be wise for me to acknowledge the basics, of course. But it depends. If everything feels right, it can also become a habit and probably much easier, too. We shall see! 8-)

It's interesting how otherworldly this looks... transparent, ethereal in a way. Neat! :ob

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

sort of caustics to me,
Yeah Taron, you know, you could add the switch pen direction to zoom in/out option like macs do with the scrolling thing.

For sure! I think, it's really a nice option, because I can imagine either preference. :ob

Interesting. At first glance it looked almost like origami to me. Closer inspection makes it look like a curious wooden contraption. Certainly has an interesting substance! :)
