I find this comforting. Problem is, however, not the lack of good new music, but the lack of good mainstream pop. It's wonderful to see that the propaganda machine fails at least there already!
I haven't read the article, yet- not sure, if I will, haha- but my guess would be that virtually all mainstream garbage is produced by some minions and then handed over to manufactured minion celebrities, catering to almost strictly specified audiences. And the innocent public still believes it was about money, which it only ever is for performers and helpers, but not really any producers. It just isn't about that and really hasn't been for many decades. Above all, it's not about ideals of musicians, who share their genuine inspiration, when it comes to all things mainstream. (look at the hand! )

Go into the "underground" and you will find countless gems, brilliant musicians and an ocean of true, musical ideals and proper explorations.

its like with new movie.... there good stuff but there much more of them it makes much harder to find...
its 1 dollar coin between 25 cent coins.... 10% large coins is easy to spot between handful of small coins... but if bucket of small coins its hard to find the 10% large coins...

back in the days.. there was only 1 big sifci movie /.year in cinema... only 1 iron maidenn album / year....
now they spam with dozen of it each month....
