I have a question.
What is this last brush for? It just kinda burns away all of the paint on a canvas and it persists even after undoing.

looks like that was the fractal brush (8).
Which version was that and on what kind of graphics card are you?

Well, I wouldn't be surprised, if a bunch of things work nicer now, because it was a fundamental funkiness that was in a number of shaders.
