HUAH!!!!!!! :bounce:
Ok, well, I think, I just might've figured out something that is pretty cool, IF it works!
If you reload the Sandbox now, will it run just fine?
If so, try to save the page and see, if it gets any script files, please! :hyper: ...I'm so nervous, hoho, I'd be so thrilled, if I had managed to do that!
Here to help! :D

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Oh, pud, I send you the source, if you want it! You can get everything you wish from me and you know it!
BUT... the html file it saves still has the whole script in it. It simply is no longer an external js file.

HOWEVER, my test initially was just to find out, if I can have a proper php file hidden, so I don't have to worry about disclosing any security keys or the likes. BUT THEN I realized, hmmmmm....let's try loading script files as text via the php and hook them into the echoed html.... omg... after some considerable struggling I finally got it to work. AND VOILA! :hyper:
So, that is a heck of a lot more than I had initially planned on finding out.
However, of course the script is still not obfuscated, so people can still explore it with the inspector, but hey... with the sandbox that is ok. Later with the full version, I would like to keep some things to myself and only among close friends such as you! :)
Here to help! :D

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Taron, if you don´t plan to release source code I would recommend obfuscating code asap. The main fluid engine is there!

I am not sure if I understand your thoughts about your PHP solution. PHP file is just on the server side and shouldn´t be visible on the client side! There is no need to hide a PHP file and you don´t have to worry about the keys if you don´t echo them, I think..? :geek:

Thanks, Lemi! Yeah, I wasn't sure and got worried, which is why I tried it again just to be save. But the javascript stuff is really awesome, because I have them all in little files, easy to work with, but the php will assemble them all. I'm trying to figure out a way to automatically obfuscate them to some extend, but I'll have to play with that some more.
In the meantime, the code that is currently there is literally nothing compared to what's to come. It was merely a little test of mine to handle webGL, framebuffers and shaders. The fluid engine in there is utterly rudimentary and stuff people can easily figure out. It's climbing to the next level, which is making this so exciting and the full version will show that! 8-)

Thank you, though! ...I'm just thrilled I'm beginning to gain some control over all the server side matters! :hyper:

Ehehehe.... well, I'm trying obfuscation right now. It's some work for me to deploy this stuff, but hey...
