Re: Suggestions

Nah, that (tiling) would only work for "conventional" paint apps. Verve's fluids couldn't work that way. Well...they could, but you wouldn't want it, trust me! Fluids would only work right to the border of the visible canvas, you know.
I could do some weird stuff, where I'd dampen fluids towards the border of such tile to avoid ugly breaks, as well as some weird solutions, if someone zoomed out, where I wouldn't change the resolution of the fluids, but ...nah, that wouldn't work either, because they affect the actual pixels of the final image, which would have to be in VRam at that time. So....there may be some tricky ways to deal with it, but I'll have to investigate later on into possibilities.

THANKS, though, of course! :ob

Re: Suggestions

Hi Taron,

I just noticed a cool effect when I color-picked an area that was bright due to being part of a layer with the [+] attribute.
The RGB #'s where above 100% and it was if I could paint with light anywhere I wanted! :o c:!

Would there be a way, like a knob to add that "lit" quality to a paint color value without doing so on a [+] layer?
Essentially giving you over+100% for RGB.

I'm assuming these values are above max level for standard diffusion illumination....
Gosh... I wonder if the OpenGL gives the option for vectors to illuminate light? (sounds far fetched).

I'm painting with light! :bounce: ....OKAY!! I WAS... now it's not doing it.
It must have been a fluke. :?

Re: Suggestions

Eh... [m] toggles additive/normal mode for painting, so it's not a fluke. You can boost a color on the same canvas to any percentage, hehe, but well... when you pick it, it should give you the same >100% color.
BUT I will later on add more wacky stuff for paint colors, such as illumination or rather ignoring the light.
I will also later on add more light sources, by the way, but anyway...

Hotkeys e.g.

SHIFT* + 1, SHIFT + .., SHIFT 5 c:!

or near C - X for Backward-Switching and V for forward-switching :P

and SHIFT* + C for saving color
