Sorry but u31 behaviour seems lost . I liked U31/u32/first u33 a lot because you could do some calligraphy with brush 9 when flattened with extreme Bias : at least on my PC/GPU the angle of the brush did not follow the direction of the stroke, but was fixed when using the mouse (either horizontally or vertically depending on the sign of Bias), and from here it followed the azimuth of the pen when using it (on Intuos Pro). Likewise when holding the pen with a given constant azimuth, the angle stayed steady, like a real flat brush actually, which was cool

Oooooh, THAT was your problem, haha... DOH! Yeah, that's the easiest to hook back up, but it still would best have a parameter....hmmmm... let me figure this out for ya!
But with the Pen in Penmode it still should be that way! Tilt controls angle!

Whether PRESSURE button is OFF or ON (this is the pen mode right ?), the angle of brush 9 follows the direction of the stroke in latest u.33 in my set-up.

In u.31 and up to first u.33, i could do this for instance with biased brush 9, when holding the Wacom pen just like I would hold a pen for writing :

BRUSH: 9
BIAS: 99%
SIZE: off; OPACITY: off; PRESSURE: on (but off does not change anything)

Just in case, download again, but it should act like that with the PRESSURE on and a wacom pen.

Yes now u.33 works like you describe with different mode depending on PRESSURE button !
Maybe i should have restarted my PC between my different tries earlier ?!

One more suggestion maybe : i've noticed that you've added a kind of radius in the brush representation, will it be possible to make it reflect the pen azimut when in pen mode ? like that we could use it to see/adjust the exact angle of the flat brush before stroking if you see what i mean !

AH, crap, I totally forgot, yeah...I'll do that later, too, of course. But the whole thing was mostly just for testing, haha...feels informative, though, I thought. Anyway, all of this will change dramatically eventually. I'll take care of pen mode representation next either way! Thanks, GBo!

Would there be anyway to SET the brush angle in a FIXED position for us users who either have only mouses or Wacom tablets that do not have angle sensitivity?
I would love to be able to set the brush bias, tilt it the way I want - AND LEAVE IT!
