You mean an "INFO" screen? I think, that should be less in someone's way than that. But some easy to access info should eventually come, too, yes. I'll hide it under some weird shortcut!

Taron, is it possible to support more image brushes? 11,12,.. Is it too difficult to implement? Let's say we want to use Verve for speedpainting but now it is little bit annoying to change the image brush frequently during the painting. Maybe an ability to use only current frame from animate brush from the top is the easiest way?

Yeah, the prototype scenario is annoying, isn't it.
BUT since I wrote the color swatches, I got inspired to do something similar with the images. You could have sets of images like you have sets of swatches.
Then, however, it becomes even more logical to have not just sets of images, but finally sets of brushes. That's ultimately what I wanted anyway. You could then hook those to the number keys instead of the hardcoded approach it has now.
Naturally this is a bit more involved and I wanted to wait with all of this for the complete rework, but then again... I'll have a look!

I'm late to discover all the new gems you have added in Verve since december 15 ("v" versions).
Let me say that the work you've done is amazing and the new possibilities of the brush engines nearly scary !

First things first : the "=" ">" and "+" modes are a great add-ons.
Actually "+" mode can be used a bit like a Dodge Tool, to use Photoshop parlance (not the same thing but similar results).
Suggestion : what about a "-" mode that could be used somewhat like a Burn Tool, i.e. darken when painting over ?
