Re: Suggestions

Download again to test the mouse now!
Don't forget that pressure on size or opacity turned on will use the speed of the mouse. To test what you want you would turn those off!

Yes all 3 radio buttons off =>
Thanks, it works (stamps on click), except for the very first mouse click, or the first mouse click after a canvas erase.

Re: Suggestions

AH, good catch! I'll have it fixed in the next complete version update. This is a weird little squeeze-release for you, you know. Great catch, though!
...eh.... just download again!

Re: Suggestions

Hey, can you made also implement a numerical edit for some settings in one of your next versions? Like in Artrage or Photoshop, not only by mousemoving or keystrokes? :ob Not a must have, but would be nice c:! e.g. copy and paste RGB NUMERICAL VALUES, or CREATING/CHANGING CANVAS and BRUSH Sizes in a NUMERICAL WAY ... this is sometimes faster :ob

And I love so much AUTOHOTKEY MACROS/HOTKEYS - so it will work better together with Verve ....

Re: Suggestions

Another thing I'll be thinking about. I have it planned for a long time already, too, so this time you're right on topic, Pilou, but it's a pretty fundamental GUI matter that requires more groundwork. I can't promise to have that done for the next version. But I can promise that it will come! 8-)

Re: Suggestions

I'm also interested in numerical input, for similar reasons (i.e. further control of Verve by Processing :D ).
If i may suggest, there is one way to do it without impacting the GUI, it is the way SketchUp is doing it, and it is very efficient indeed !
=> the user would begin to turn the dial he wants, for instance COLOR:RED (to any value), then he would type on the num pad the exact value that he wants, e.g. 9 5, then presses Enter, et voilà, the RED is at 95% !

Re: Suggestions

Idea about lights for the endless idea list :D
Reset light function.
I often loose myself - still - using the light because on extreme light positions completely different effects are possible. It would be a big help if there would be something like a reset.

F6 mirrors everything, also light - could be the light self-sufficient?

Re: Suggestions

self sufficient? You mean: independent?

Anyhow, part of the idea for mirroring is to judge the look of the image, including the lighting. It would mildly defeat the purpose to have it independent. I could instead make the transform to allow mirroring the content of layers...probably an option to transform all layers or finally making a multi-selection.
