What about to have a possibility to resize an image [i] rectangle proportionally (according to its center)?

Yes, you're absolutely right, I should finally make that selector work properly. It's still just my little tester, hence the color coding for the sides, too, hehe, but that's kind of cool, too, because you can grab an image flipped. Not sure, if you noticed already? Just drag the left edge over to become the right edge, for example. You'll grab the image "mirrored".

Anyway, yep, I'll clean all this up eventually!

"Negative build up"
Create negative bumps on a clean canvas and apply colour.
Thought about it while I was trying to make a pores - skin brush.

That sounds like something you can already do!
Just make some positive bumps, grab it as canvas [ctrl]+[shift]+[p] while on proper canvas texture mode and then [shift]+[t] to invert it!

Ok - that is working for the canvas, but I would love to make a image brush. That didn't seem to work.
No doubt I could do that in another app - just a thought.

Huh? That's weird. Are you talking about a brush with which you can create pore textures on skin?
If so, why would you not simply make a positive brush and then use it to erase at lower opacity? OOOhhhhhhh, you mean to color the pores at the same time?
Hahahahaha...that's so...man, after you do such fantastic sketch exercises you revert back to thinking about digital approaches that couldn't be further away from what you'd do with Verve? ... DOH!

Hmmmm...I'll think about it, maybe I just have the build up bipolar so you could go negative with it.

OH, TRY THIS:
- make a positive pore image for the brush
- take it (duh)
- set paint mode to "=" (absolute)
- turn buildup down or even to 0

And now you can paint negative bumps at a color of your choosing!
