Re: Suggestions

Eh, I have something similar planned, but a little more aggressive. In my version the brush size also conforms to the perspective as well as the shape, effectively making you paint on a plane you define or choose.
Also, with my "distort" tool, the brush image selector, you can literally select the perspective plane by placing the edges around it properly and then you can place the copy of it exactly to where you want it at any perspective without having to search for a proper distortion.
But it looks nice what they've got. It has kind of an artrage feel, the interface. Kind of like a hybrid of sorts between that an ps. Hmmm...still neat.
I think, Verve will remain kind of unique, even when I'm approaching the "final" gui at some point.
Thanks for sharing, though! :ob

Re: Suggestions

That does sound cool. Making the brush conform in that manner will give great control and possibility :) c:!

Re: Suggestions

When I did a multi touch experiment, I've had 10 brushes go at the same time, which is really kinda fun, but pointless in that context, of course. However, it would allow me to do instance painting, spread across perspective planes. Things such as bricks or windows could then be easily painted in perspective without having to guess foreshortening accurately.
Anyhow, there's a lot left to develop, that's for sure, and great potential to offer some really aggressive innovations! 8-)

Re: Suggestions

Currently we have [Shift]+[Home] that resets the window to the size of the canvas. Is is possible to have vice versa version, I mean fit the canvas width to the actual width of the window?

Re: Suggestions

Hmmm...yeah, that would be logical. And almost no problem, if it wouldn't make me doubt an existence of my own intelligence... :PP
It's working almost perfectly, except that there's a simple thing to center the image, which isn't as simple as one might think... ...so confusing that crap. But it will be in the next version and will be [Ctrl]+[home]
