Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

That puzzles me... and artist of your caliber, wanting to use an autopainter? ...hmmm...
The name sounds familiar, tartine. Anyway, some people were playing around with a few things like that.
GBoGBo was doing interesting things with scripting based autopainters:

Anyway...

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

yes, I guess is my programmer side XD
Its like a chatbot, it can't do poetry or write a novel or something like that, but surely it can do an interactive FAQ
and from that process you can acquire quite a few abilities,
I have seen this happen many times, the way how the skills earned in one process can improve another one,
from sculpture practice, how it can improve your drawing skills by triggering your volume perception
from digital how it improves your traditional,
what can be learned from 'light to dark painting' that can be applied into 'dark to light painting', etc.

yes I have to say tartine sounded familiar to me too, sounded like taron xD

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

All true, except that tartine sounded like taron, hahahaha... :?
And I wouldn't know about chatbots or what to learn from them, but all the rest is very true indeed! ;)

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Hi Taron, this is a kinda tech question but its related to Verve, I heard that the 10 series or NVIDIA cards (gtx 1070, 1080) doesn't fit into motherboard that were made for 9 series of NVIDIA, at least for laptops, is this true in your case? mainly cuz the size, but also I read that SLI configuration needs a secondary cable to plug into motherboard that old motherboards doesn't have.

I'm trap, cuz if I want to upgrade my video card I will have to set a hole new system, I can't even use my processor, cuz intel made sure it won't fit in new motherboards. dang. :PP
any suggestions, how are you planning to upgrade?

Thanks advanced.

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

I hope, somebody will be able to answer your question (besides google), because I can't tell you. I know that the 960 that I have needed more power than the quadro 5000 that was in there originally! In fact, it needs so much power, that USB ports don't have enough for any device that requires more power, even a "gamer mouse" wouldn't get enough anymore, haha.

Anyway...putting a machine together can be a major pain for sure. Most of my computers are from professional projects I worked on. Only once I ever built myself a machine and I was pushed into getting a liquid cooled system. The radiator leaked and my machine burned internally to a crisp, destroying everything, including both hard disks with all my precious data. I was rather angry, as one can imagine. AH pfff...lesson learned, what ever the lesson was.
