Re: What to do against Anti Virus ban?
The old versions where compressed exes, but the compression seems to have been the same they used to these malwares. So, they didn't think to check for the decompressed code, but simply considered the compression routine to be the virus. Please, tell me this is not the most shameful idiocy? So, since this is quite a common compression routine, countless apps and games must've suffered the same fate.
I realized this and then decided not to compile with the built-in compression, which is why the file size suddenly went to over a megabyte. While this helped a little bit with the scanning madness, apparently there are still other idiotic factors at work. I did get a free SSL for my site, but I suppose it's not being trusted because it's free?!?
Well, well... I suppose, once I go commercial with Verve, I can allow investing more, including all sorts of certificates and such. It's where things pressure me to go, as much as I truly hate it. If only I were rich...
