The picture below has little bit long history As you can recognise it wasn´t create all in Verve but for the final steps I used Verve alot. Let me describe the steps I used to "paint" this piece.
1. From Open street maps I got 2d map of my city Budweis where I live
2. In Autodesk Map 3D I extruded the 2d map and created 3D model from it - not accurate at all but enough for my needs.
3. Then I used Werkkzeug demo tool to create a texture from "1 0 1 0" text and used it for the 3D model. At this stage I was able to fly through the model. Later I want to use it for my real-time demo.
4. I took some screenshots and load them in Verve
5. Some playing in Verve and voila, the result is here
