Everybody's First Doodle

Well, Intars, you certainly deserve your own gallery thread! That's very impressive by any means and I won't mention the mouse! EXCELLENT job!

I have to say that using only a mouse for the paint over? Superb job!

It wasn't that easy. That's true. But I just have to create something! How I decided that it has to be architectural verve-paint don't remember but more likely it is because of my self-taught training I go through in academic drawing.
Got past cubes, spheres, groups of objects, perspectives and thought - something architecture related has to appear in my recent works.

One more thing that makes life harder for me is my laptop - seems like 1280x720 resolution is the most optimal to work since resolutions above that tends to go slow and hard to control.

I have Toshiba i5, 6GB RAM and Geforce GT330M 1GB.

When my PC returns to me (helped fellow CG artist, gave it for a time to finish commercial project urgent while his computer experienced "meltdown") I hope its hardware will give me possibility work at least on 1440 and up.
Than it would be easier to tackle details and even with mouse. But I decided to get tablet no matter what in upcoming two months

Verve is indeed very comfortable tool to work with. Pure joy. I somehow never ever could get attached enough to Photoshop for drawing. Here is different story. Verve feels soooo natural and cooool to work with that I don't see much trouble to work even with mouse. Just make pauses and split creation of verve-paint to say two-three days. Step by step you can get anywhere with it I believe.

I intend in some future to make some very detailed verve-paint with some dramatic action in it once I feel that I control verve even more.

My first Verve doodle Not really taking advantage of the textures yet but gosh I'm looking forward to it! This is so much fun, haven't been this excited about a painting program in a while!

Ahh thank you! Super looking forward to creating + posting more! I'm having an issue right now though where saved projects can't be loaded? Or at least it loads but the canvas is empty?
