Dear Pilou, I've viewed again the above video (6.8 Combining Steering Behaviors: Flocking), it's fascinating to see all these moves influenced by various weighted "forces", but i'm not sure to see the painting /drawing potential here (in a static image i mean). Should the moving "flies" leave a painted trace behing them, i'm pretty sure it would soon become a mess.

Yep A Pollock like painting! And with a touch of fluidify verving after you will obtain a master piece!
