Very great digital Artwork again - did you used as a reference, if I can ask?

I used visual references to first make a detailed pencil hand sketch of the car, then a pencil sketch of the woman, which I now wish wasn't done separately from the car.
You may notice the black cartoonish edges in certain parts... it was an experiment to see if I could flesh out the elements from the pencil work. I'm not too crazy about it.
The woman is the muse I yearn much for not much reference besides facial proportions were needed, but I amazed her by the accuracy of her body to real life.
The pose was a bear because I wanted her left eye to be in the dead-center of the image.

I can see a dozen flaws in this image I wish I could do over, but the semi-transparent leaves are on purpose. It gives the sense that they are too close in from the field of view.
One of my other goals was to keep the focus on her face by toning down superfluous elements in the scene... way easier said than done, so fail.

Other than me babe, my favorite element of my image was the play of pink and blue.

Maybe the face ....but it is fitting very well in the overall illustration style..so no real critic.
I am always amazed how accurate you go through all details.
You are so safe in using perspective and light.

"For the Wild Life"

For the Field Day edition of the radio club newsletter. It took too long to complete, and yes, as my 14yr old daughter (whom draws better people than me) all the proportions are wrong... ha, it's my style for corny cliche cartoons. And the answer is 'yes', on the woman going down on the doughnuts.

As for my process, I used Moment of Inspiration for the basic layout of the RV and table, then used Mischief for creating detailed sketches of the figures, both combined and used as guidelines for Verve where everything was 100% painted, mostly with brush #9 set at 18% buildup with layer bump set low at 5%.

I could use Verve just as easy for sketching but I now use Mischief at work to create smooth ink renderings for vector design so "half of one, six dozen of another."

And you are right. Your style is very consistent. No need to trouble around with proportions. It is obviously a K4ICY painting now. Who else cqn say that? And a very, very good painting!

Wow. I really like your new contribution for the newsletter. Very good idea with your bear family . Light and shadows are awesome! I like the man in front center and fridge with ice cubes and bottles .

very very great artwork & I like it, very funny - and about 3D I have the same thoughts like Mike, I try to build some cool stuff in moi3d/3Dcoat/Silo too - for using in 2D paintings next time

light/shadows and characters are well done too - like also the reflections of the bottles
