I'll have to figure all of that out! Well, I'm very sensitive to the slowdowns, watching everything very carefully and at 8 layers on default res (1280x720) it starts to get a tiny hesitation. Nothing bad, just enough to notice and that means I should really look into doing what I was planning on doing a while ago already.

I really believe it's part of the Verve-phenomenon, that it brings out different styles so dramatically. But the individual stamp of each artist remains prominent at the same time. Maybe it is because Verve has no stencils (yet) or image based brushes (yet), which make a software like PS so identifiable and the looks kind of cold. It's almost challenging to make Verve paintings look cold or overly digital, hehehe.

Here's a super quick doodle with the new brush #9 oscillation. You can get fairly complex things with just a few strokes, like the grass and, well, everything. This is only a subtle example, but I thought it's neat.
