Re: With verve into the light

What can I say? I like them all for various reasons. I have no problems looking at details. In fact I enjoy finding things I have missed before. Understand this is a 1960's mode of mine driven by "find the ?" and some of the more inspired blacklight posters of the day. Kind of like look! I haven't seen that before... cool ;) Often a viewer sees what they want to see propelled by the back splash impression of the image and their own creative minds. Each has it's merits. Like Mike for instance. It is the detail that makes Mike the artist I know and respect. As I said earlier, I like all of your versions for different reasons. c:! :beer:

Re: With verve into the light

@Knacki

Yes, the paintings is much more appealing now and reads better. c:!
My focus easily shifts from reflections through marshes and to the castle, which is now of main interest and shines in full colors intensity! I can almost feel the heat at the roofs and smell of the grass in front yard. Almost to question myself are there some fruits at that tree? Then, my view passes beyond onto the background from right to left and goes back. Much much better, even you used tricks to blur that grass in front. Next time you can paint it like that! Love the flag suggesting the breeze from the sea. It even draws focus, at left, to most distant hills at the sea level (creating mini loop) and evocating some good memories! Well done! Congrats! :beer:
Hope you feel better now with this painting? You really should! :ob

@Zero
Yes, that's the idea! It's called aerial perspective. ;)

Oh, great result, Knacki. You added more details into it than we can find in the original. I would like to be there and fly around the castle with a dragon. :)

:D
Thanks - that is ultra fun, you should try it.

I played a bit with new verve to see if fixed fluids changed something, I would say no.
I'll do some more tests soon.
