Re: Extrapolations

I like to experiment too :) I wanted to see how many Interesting variations I could get in F4 and F5 and I wanted to play more with colors making sure I had roughly put in a nice variation in color on a transparent layer. Here are the variations I liked the most. The last 2 are rotated looking for details around the canvas. Hmmm that would be a fun option... being able to rotate and zoom in and around and render wysiwyg :)

Re: Extrapolations

That's a lot of nice stuff with great amount of detail! Is that all based on some loaded images?
Really nice! c:!

Yeah, I'm pretty happy about the general interactivity of it all with pan, zoom and rotate. I haven't even explored all the possibilities for wacky stuff...that's what we all have borhani for, normally! :ugeek: :D
Here to help! :D

Re: Extrapolations

Thanks Borhani and Taron :) From the screenshot you will see 3 identical layers in different blend modes to see what if anything might happen and 2 more layers with a little added white. Previously I had taken the Whozit and seriously Ctrl W 'ed it with added grey to black tones to provide depth. The color layer had a lot of transparent areas. I saved a png file and the project and the name changed from color experiment to whozit when I restarted lol. It's almost like exploring fractals :D Blame Kai!

A quick sketch for a possible more serious project. Feels like the Eiffel Tower should be in the background or the Arch of Triumph lol. The eye is the only thing worth salvaging from my wreck of a female sketch and even it is flawed and very fantasy. That cornea

Re: Extrapolations

The eye is fascinating! I get the vibe of a 60's experimental movie for some reason?! It's great! :ob

Re: Extrapolations

Hi Tartan, this is great ! how did you get this blur effect by the way ?
Edit : or is it just pixel oversampling by zooming in ? :D

Re: Extrapolations

heh thx for the encouragement guys.
@Taron 60s? I am a child of the 60s and that's when I first started doodling and it became a habit with female eyes. Astute observation ;)
@GboGbo Thanks Gbo. The blur effect is from a lot of shift using the #1 brush, sometimes with blending up to 33% and sometimes not. Some of the blur May be caused by shading layers I dropped down with varying opacity. ie you paint on a layer, trim it down to fit the area you want with ctrl, drop it and then shift brush 1 to blend it in.
