eep the picture disappeared when I switched OS s lol. Thats ok Gbo I remember it well. Like Taron said (hmm the image is back lol) Really cool tornado there and great work all in all on the planet! :ob

It was a quick study (30 minutes max including Photoshop wrap up).
I was not sure how to map a rectangular texture on a sphere so i followed this tutorial (needs Photoshop CS6 extended or CC):

I see a nice blue Jupiter - with his large eye "Mega-Storm" - without Rings c:! ... can u use also Normalmaps/Bumbmaps or even Displacementmaps in PS? Would be also nice, if one day, we could export normalmaps from Verve :) into 3D Appz - c:!

Hello yes - I did not use it here - but you can import bump files into the 3D module of PS CC to modulate the surface.
Verve can export its bump into a height map, is that different from what you call normal maps ?
