He is a senstation, isn't he? ;)
Color palette like a rendermachine and a deep sense of humour.
A real artist.

Re: Inspirations

Exactly what i thought, Pilou. I have here a wonderfull book about Carl Larsson, and one of his daughter is represented in a very similar picture.

Hey Lemivision, it's rather rare to see the paintings of mucha, unlike his illustrations which seem the most famous part. Great idea.

Re: Inspirations

Dear Freaks,

have you already seen
http://www.wikiart.org/en/alphabet
wikiart?
I hit this site today and was blown away by the huge amount of artworks shown there.
117 pieces of never heard before Carl Larrson or 150 pieces of Alphonse Mucha.

So if you are into so called classic art, this is a brilliant source.
Combined with http://www.metmuseum.org/collection it's a real solid classical art reference.

Cheers ;)

Re: Inspirations

That's a linklist, which is directing you to several museum websites.
Thanks Pilou. Very useful.
Good to find missing guys but takes some time to click through.
The other links are pointing you directly to the paintings, which is very quick.
