And I see that i have forgotten the best thing for introduce you to the Nurbs' world if you don't know it! (Mac or PC)
Moment of Inspiration (Moi3D) with its Free demo Infinite without save but...
...with this little script by Michael Gibson the author of Moi3D you can save your image at any size (following your hard memory size, just change the x, y parameters)
I never seen best ergonomy, "fludity" of the UI and modeling, beauty of the "drawing" itself of the curves even on very old computers, created first for the Pen Graphic (works also with a mouse ),dawing in 2D replace Illustrator, etc...

So you can load any files formats existing admited even OBJ formats who will be transform in Nurbs with this crazzy plugin by Max Smirnov (Import and then Subdivise)!

A true gem of program : don't try it else you never want use anything else! Except Verve of course!

PS For Frenchies : it's me for all French inside and about this crazzy prog! (UI, Manuel, Site etc...
