Why?
I have a 44 large format epson that I bought used for cheap and I love large abstract expressionistic work and LOVE what Verve does with a single swoosh of a brush and when I print these images out on paper or canvas MY HEART DROPS! @#$% As a student I used to work on large canvases but the material and space requirements are brutal not to mention that its no simple task to create a pleasing gesture across a 6 foot canvas. Verve is the ultimate playmate for this type of painting…it is literally like a musical improvisation…pushing, pulling, dancing. And as I become more capable with Verve, it becomes a controlled improvisation in which I am able to produce desired effects which are still very organic and random.
There in lies the magic of Verve for me. And then to print these images out on a large scale and swim in the colour and gesture…..well then…that is something.
And if you haven't yet then I encourage you to try printing one of your pieces out on large canvas. It will put a smile on your face.
HAving said that I have to mention that for some reason these painting do scale extremely well…I think its the 16 bit colour depth that gives it such latitude.
I can go up to about 24x36 fairly comfortably …its only when you have sharp details or hard edges that the pixels become apparent.
Regardles…..Im not requesting anything in regards of software resolution actually,…..…I was just curious about a workaround that might allow me to do some detailing by working in sections. I suppose even the 16 import would do the trick if and when it becomes possible
I think perhaps you underestimate the ways in which Verve wants to break out into the world and how people might use it Taron LOL!

Once it becomes more refined I can easily see art students everywhere from kids to universities using Verve because it has a feel and elegance that is truly unique.
And people will want to look at their art on the wall for sure!
Looking at things on a monitor is fine but when I print these images out at 24 x 36 they become something truly beautiful to behold.
Its a painter and some paintings want to live large!
Cheers
