Re: Michal's little gallery

Those eyes totally do the trick!
The teeth are most odd, though. Just think how low those upper teeth are going, you know...they'd be either half as long, or you'd have to lift the upper lip higher together with them, but add a bit of gum rather than have it all teeth, you know!?
But...yeah...proper spooky! :o

Re: Michal's little gallery

Definitely more natural! Tehehe, wicked!
You should have a look (and go) at some human skulls, try paint some of them. It's quite interesting what one can learn from facial proportions there, too. You do have to imagine skin, of course, muscle and so on... but there are some hard proportions that can't change, you know.
Here to help! :D

Re: Michal's little gallery

You are always disturbing me a bit with your switches between beauty and scary. :D
You corrections made him much more believable.
Cool.
When I drew my portrait last time, I forgot to horizontal switch with F6 while I was drawing.
Generally it's a good idea to do that time by time, but with faces it is essential.
The eyes by the way, the eyes are brilliant!!
But for remembering most of us, it's always worth to look on taron's tutorial ;)

The warp tool is one of the coolest things ever invented to correct little imperfections ;)
Imagine this would be available as make up ? :D :D

Re: Michal's little gallery

I like it - really, its really scary c:! - that face did remind me from the helloween-movies - but I'm sure with good observations and anatomy studies the next artworks will be better :) I thinks its also good to study faceparts .. e.g. only eyes, only mouth and so on :ob

Re: Michal's little gallery

Thank you so much Taron, Knacki, Zeropainter, Tartan for your nice and constructive comments.
I will take your suggestions to my heart and I should definitely have a closer look on skulls and anatomy :) Maybe similar paintings like the last one will follow.. :)

I like all things in harmony so that's why when I feel there are so much "odd" pictures in my thread I try to paint the opposite and vice versa :)
