Re: With verve into the light

man Knacki. You have posted a lot since I last commented here. But at least you aren't as bad Borhani! :D Starting from the Indian picture. The first was well done but the transformation in the second took it where it wanted to be and took it to another level. I like the little landscape. It has a style about it that isn't often seen these days. I seem to be thinking of the 60s a lot today. The abstracts all of them. You succeeded so well at creating depth you turned them into a view of an alien world rooted into reality. These are my favorite c:! This last came out brilliantly. It seems to me that when you go back to an image it almost always comes out better. This one definitely reminds me of Michael Whelan's science fiction or fantasy book covers :ob

Yes Pilou, it is said that blue is Germans most favourite colour?
I dunno, this time it was fun ;)

Oh taron, well....that's...O.K......let's see when I'll find back into this world.

Today I visited complete different places.
Abstractland first.
A composition for depth, light and brush ductus:

Next I wanted to test real watercolour in verve.
Never managed to get it satisfyingly working. O.K. those Chinese paintings. But real wet in wet watercolour.

Albrecht Dürer the old German watercolour master said:
"The art in art is to know when to stop."

Oh yes, he is absolutely right!
Luckily, I am in the digital world which is forgiving some mistakes. But even in this ideal environment i managed to overdo things, that other parts were moved, contrasts lost. But it's O.K. and I am pleased for first try.

No, I don't know this girl.
I guess she is the Bavarian girlfriend of our little turban fellow one page before? :D

Re: With verve into the light

Well, don't think that you- not wanting to continue consciously with the story just yet- would keep me from finding possible hooks to take those into it!!! 8-)

Chapter 2 - The Beginning

Orez didn't know that he was born as a spec of light in the womb of sand. Nor did he know that Loupi gave his seed to the boy's mother. Orez never knew either of them, but like a mirage the portrait of his mother lingered in the crystal on the bracelet around his neck, if only he looked close enough. If he realized who watched over him, he'd also had known that his father was always close by. But, oblivious as ever, he'd carry on with his explorations, determined to find and solve the next big challenge ahead by toying around with everything around him. How long would it be until his destiny caught up with him?

I like quiz questions! :) Maybe David or young Caesar? Am I right?

Taron told very nice story.I would vote for continuation of the story too! :) In any case your last pictures are cool, with no doubt! c:!
