Re: Bug Reports

Download again, just in case. I keep making small updates. This could've been a buggy one. I think I even remember that!
Just download it again!

Re: Bug Reports

Try again. I've just uploaded my current version and it sure does not show that problem anymore!
However, I even downloaded the version you should've just downloaded and it doesn't show the trouble, so that's a little bit scary.
Anyway, let me know, if the new one fixes it. If not I will ask all other AMD users to try this and let me know!
It's really weird! :|

Re: Bug Reports

Anyone else able to confirm such a problem?!
I believe I understand what you mean.
Brush #1
Fluidity at 0%
Opacity at 0%
[Shift] + drag (smudging)

But no matter what brush I use, what pressure sensitivity I select, what blob I paint and smudge around in... I don't get this. I know what it could be, but it just won't happen here. :|
I have a routine that only updates around the brush, if fluidity is at 0%. It normally works perfectly fine. Why it freaks out under your Radeon is beyond me. My advice, just don't do that for a while!

But still, if anyone can confirm trouble of this kind, please, let me know!

Re: Bug Reports

Here's a weird one. When you have a layer on multiply mode (or whatever the darkening layer mode is called), if it is at -1 glossiness and more than a little paint built up, the shadows will bleed onto the layer above--even when the above layer is at 100% opacity. And when they are both at -1 glossiness and the top layer is in multiply mode, at any point at which their shadows overlap, instead of black, the shader draws bright white and other (complementary?) colors. This corrupts the appearance of the sidebar as well, I assume for the same reason.

Re: Bug Reports

pehehe...I shouldn't laugh, but those are the two most fishy things in Verve combined!
Multiply is just through GL Blending functions, which is not really all that desirable and leads to a bunch of sad results in Verve.
Negative Glossiness leads to a faulty lighting calculation, which just looks cool, so I left it in there, but it generates negative color values, which I clamp away, when you save the image. Great ink-outline trick that borhani loves to take advantage of! :D
But...if you blend the resulting negative color values, all color-hell breaks lose, of course. Unless you'd want such a thing, of course!
Yeah, I still need to polish the whole thing a bit... and I shall, I promise! ;)
