Welcome Gary! Yes, very good Disney tribute! Mainly background (wood and wall textures, tools and cans) in your last picture is great! :ob

Re: Gary's Verve Stuff

I can't take any credit for color schemes. I'm copying. These are all paintings I made from studying the originals in books. It's my method of learning how to paint. I'm not an accomplished artist. The Pinocchio painting really surprised me. I didn't know I could do as well as that.

Verve is an absolutely fantastic paint program. It simulates the wet-on-wet painting technique of blending on the canvas. (A technique made well know by Bob Ross on Public Television here in the U.S. I must have watched him make about 400 paintings over the years. Maybe I learned something.)

Re: Gary's Verve Stuff

Here's one I finished last night. It's from the book "Dream Worlds: Production Design for Animation" by Hans Bacher. It's a concept piece for "Beauty and the Beast" that Disney threw away. A pity. The Bacher stuff for that film is great looking. Disney didn't use any of it.
