Re: Suggestions

thx pud,

btw I know [ctrl]+[p] switches actual canvas cuz I read about it on this thread, but I could swear is not listed in the manual, :?
I searched for "[p]" and it only mentioned "[p] will set the background color to the currently selected color".

I also read about these two hotkeys below, but I don't understand what they do?

Taron wrote:That sounds like something you can already do!
Just make some positive bumps, grab it as canvas [ctrl]+[shift]+[p] while on proper canvas texture mode and then [shift]+[t] to invert it! ;)

could please somebody cast some light on this, thanks advanced.

Re: Suggestions

I am sure it's already said, I would like to see a classic menu bar in new verve GUI.
File / Edit / Mask etc. etc.

Oh yes, that's most certainly part of the plan. Can't promise you classic "classic", though! ;)

Re: Suggestions

You know the simple stuff within you find most commands easily. Probably with belonging shortcut beside.
Best for beginners and for those not working with verve everyday and looking for something.

I would really love to have a selection and transformation section. With scaling and distorting. I guess you have it already in for image brushes, but the usual way.

Re: Fractals and fluid

I just want to say something about brush number 8, fractals and fluids.
It occurs to me that fractals have an uncanny ability to emulate everything and anything in nature.
Brush 8 is clearly just the tip of the proverbial iceberg....I would soooooo love to have access to a myriad of fractals...such as those found in blender 3d's texture panel. They open up a whole new world of possibilities and this is something I find totally unique to Verve. Those same fractal algorithms
could serve as paper or canvas textures...which seems obvious to me but I have never seen it implemented...perhaps for technical reasons?...Fuids are a bridge into another dimension that goes way beyond the usual approach to "painting" even though it is brilliant at that too. As a musician who thrives on improvisation...the random factor in Verve is addictive and tantalizing and I hope that it remains a cornerstone of the development philosophy as you move forward! :)
