by the way - my next painting/illustration will have some more details - here my WIP - the first part is an study, the next part a new interpretation
it didn't will have a blurry background, because its important to see lots of straw and the spinning wheel in the background - I will paint a picture of the "Rumepelstilzchen/Rumpelstiltskin". It will be funny, I'm inspired by the painting of Henrietta Browne Painting from 1874 + a mixed Dwarf like Tyrion Lennister from the Game of Thrones Movies + Nergal from the Band Behemoth

And here my RefList, I use alo 3D - in the middle I did build up my 'illustration' idea - and I build my Spinning in moi3D.

cool, do you use pureref for placing the ref imgs Zero?

No, just photoshop and for opening Refs in Verve or Photoshop I use RefWarior - only Artrage did have an own Ref-Window - as you know. Often I miss a second ComputerScreen Panel or a bigger screen (I own an 22" from Eizo) - but my workingplace is too small for two screens

here a speedpaint, I used Krita ShapeTool for creating PNG/Brushes - - I love the ShapeTool in Krita. Cool for Vornoishapes, Stone-Tile-shapes or some Shapes like in my image.

This color choice is magic.
Looks so easy, but using the right balance to keep this intensity contrast in your smooth way, I find it most difficult.

Thats Rumpelstilsk (Rumpelstilzchen) - its the first evening and he wants necklace from the girl
- he is very bad, because of slap in the face he is so evil - so you see also some blood in my scene.

Mabye I will upload also a blood free version - thats the plus with digital art

btw. Brush #4 is also great for painting straw.

Haha, such a poor girl! Very detailed painting with clear and shining style. Shadows on the girls sleeves and her hands are great!
