Re: Suggestions

The light is initially positioned up above, off the top of the image. However, when painting on a new canvas with a vertical orientation, the light appears within the canvas, near the top. After moving the light to the bottom of the canvas, however, it stays in that same position in a new shape: square, horizontal rectangle, or vertical rectangle. Even just within the bottom left or right corner, it is in the same corner position in a new image size.

So, as far as I can tell, the light position is relative to the width of the canvas, but its vertical displacement in pixels from the bottom of the canvas is absolute. This makes no sense to me and I would much prefer the light to be positioned relatively in both dimensions!

Re: Suggestions

As for the lights, I was a bit in a hurry there!
The light is absolute, really, just relative to the bottom. Consider it like a light in your room. If it was magically changing positions, just because you switched format, it would become far more confusing very quickly. But there are other concerns in its regard that I'll address once I get to it. I really want a nice interface to deal with it, too. Maybe I'll make some option to pick what it would be hooked to on your "isle" so to say. ;)

Re: Suggestions

YAY, adoring the prototype Warp mode! :D
Suggestion would be warp mode rotation kinda functionality?
Hehe, well sure you already thought of that. :P
Suppose I do have a question about dosing "average/inflate" in Warp mode.. how to do that? (for me it's always way too strong.)
Verve is so already so freaking sweet, thanks some more Taron!

Re: Suggestions

Yeah, warp mode is new territory for a bunch of fun experiments, including vortex, pinch and what ever else will present itself as interesting and fun. I'm just wondering what might happen, if I let it analyze neighboring coordinates to let it try to relax back into the direction it was moving or so, haha...could make for some curious events, too. Great playground for sure! :D

Average is Opacity aware, meaning, if you go down with the opacity, it will "inflate" more slowly! Give it a try! ;)
Thanks, tama, I'm really having a blast with Verve and every new thing or improvement I can put together. I really can't wait to get to the interface again and bring it to the next level, too. But I have to focus on my projects again for a moment...

Yes, looking forward to it. ^^

Hmm, I already had tried that.. seems, perhaps just on my side, Opacity doesn't make much of a difference: too strong either way. :/

Well as it is now, it already is my favorite program/tool in the world. :D HEhe, if I get locked away just give me Verve, musagi and perhaps some text editor.. haha. Oh, and a computer and some power.. and some interwebs.. and well, you know, things, food and.. :P
