Hehe, THANKS, Tom! Yeah, Pilou is a relentless master of discovery and he brilliantly challenges us to improve things. Already he has pushed us successfully to add a good deal of features, which will all come in the next update. He's a true angel to us in so many ways! :ob

Re: White Rabbit CAD

That sounded funny for a moment, but now I get it... we have a minimum size for the window, below that it's just not really usable. You can increase it to maximum (full screen), but we haven't made a fullscreen mode, yet, either.

How many times I'm tempted to say: Women think differently, you know! :hihi: ...but I love that about Oli, really. She just wants things to do what they have to and no less and no more. It's pretty awesome, even if it can get a bit scary for the likes of you and me, haha! :?

Re: White Rabbit CAD

Can we have the number of (tools (?) selecteds like segments arcs etc ...)
I have found that click on an empty space unselect all... :)
Why : say i want draw a square during a session yet started (so some things existing on the canvas ( screen) ?)

I draw a line
I want select it (click on the empty screen by security) then select it then CTRL D (similar than Clone Paste in place)
Now i want to be sure that there are 2 lines existing (so number existing somewhere will be cool )
Call Rotation
Now i want to be sure that I Click one extremity ! Pressing Right for have Red disc don't work that give another point of rotation not the extremity :PP
Clicking very near the extremity is not sufficient sometime that take it, some time not! How to force it ?
So I am perplex :) (of course i made hundred of tests! ) There is a trick ? different layer ?...
Concept was A line - Copy Rotation by an extremity, Mirror the 2 lines by the diagonal = a square :)
That works fine when i success to click the extremity!
As you see this time i had not clicked the extremity! And seems there is a maximum zoom! :D

And I have not the Snap magnet ? :( EDIT: reading the MANUAL SEEMS SHIFT IS THE KEY

Discover also that a dedicated Forum White Rabbit is existing! I am the only one member ! :D
Do you prefer that I post here or there ?

PS I don't record the proove of the sqaure by diagonal, middle of it then draw a circle passing on the 4 Square's verticies! :geek:

Re: White Rabbit CAD

OH GREAT, I was already going to ask you, if you've looked into joining the forum?! Excellent! I'll go there in a moment! :ob

Here's a little demo on how to make a simple square, using all the functions you have mentioned, I think. I've also used "CTRL+A" to select all.

Re: White Rabbit CAD

Have you make a big ZOOM ?
Does it possible to hide the Cross Point before draw lines ?
Because seems the SHIFT can also take the crosses as Hot point Snap ?

Re: White Rabbit CAD

Ahm, Shift will enable locking to the matrix of an object you have snapped onto, but if you did not snap onto the object, it will lock to the general coordinate system (plain compass matrix). This then may look like it would use the crosses, hehe, but that's not what it does.

I don't know what you've done up there, though, but if you have not snapped to the location, there may be such a small offset, then. It's not a coarsely "quantized" space, you know, but there is a double precision quantization, of course. I'm sure you can follow me now, haha...eeek, even I find this a weird way to describe things, hehe... :hihi: :?

Anyway, the worst things are the rounding errors of the processor, which matter a great deal and can cause grief.
