Re: Virtue's paintings...

:o ...I'm so thrilled by the variety of styles that find their way into Verve, that's just awesome! V, that totally rocks and looks like nothing I've seen thus far! Freaking sweet! :D
It has a little bit of an 80's flair to it somehow, haha, and there are dozens of wicked places on it! ROCK ON!!! 8-)

Re: Virtue's paintings...

I appreciate the nice comments! Thanks! :D

Here's a quickie... it started out as random swirls, which kind of looked like a closeup of a flower, so I went that direction with it... I think Verve is becoming my favorite drawing program! :D

I'm impressed! Very 'happy' use of color. I love those landscapes. :)

Re: Virtue's paintings...

 my plans are coming true  ...sooooon I shall implement my hypnotic canvas spi...oh crap, I did that already...I- UH- Ah- I didn't even formulate the subliminal message let alone put it in... AAaaahhhh!!!! :o
Ok, I'm getting carried away a little, hmm... Anyway, VERY sweet! I'm really, really starting to get totally excited about any abstracts these days and all of you are getting quite phenomenal at that stuff, too!
I should really hook up the "Golden Spiral" and what ever classic design guides could come in handy. I think it would also boost the power of those abstracts a lot!

FUN STUFF! :D

Re: Virtue's paintings...

Ah, that's GREAT, Pilou! I think, I'll hook up a "checkbox" system, where you can activate different guides like that!
Great job, thanks! :D

Re: Virtue's paintings...

Sorry I am not more active on the forum, I am not very good at communicating with words. I do appreciate the feedback! :D

I've made lots of abstract stuff already, so I will probably make a collage soon. Here's the most recent:

Re: Virtue's paintings...

Don't hold back with those, but I'm sure you'll pick the ones you enjoy the most. This one has to be one of them, because it's a storm of light with a sense of cosmic power and even a sense of sound, too. Very cool! 8-)
You can totally make your pictures speak for themselves, but it's always nice to hear from the artist a little bit about it, too, if there is anything to be said. What makes a forum so exciting to me, is that we share our journeys with each other. We can learn a lot from each other that way, and that's one heck of a privilege and a gift! :)
