Re: Suggestions

No problem, thanks for the answer.
Yes, I've noticed that brush #2 barrel angle can already follow the azimut of the grip pen, but i could not make this brush flat in spite of tweaking the bias.
Also, optionally, the rotation of the Art Pen would be a more natural way to control this than the azimut of the normal grip pen. If you don't own a Wacom Art Pen but interested in implementing features for it, you can send me beta software that I can test for you.
Best regards,

Re: Suggestions

brush#4 should kind of do it, but it's still a bristle based legacy brush, really.
Art Pen...that's the wacom thing for mobile tablets, right?
If only I had funding, haha! :P
Should I be able to one day arrange this to happen, I'll certainly get those things to hook them up. :)

Re: Suggestions

The Art Pen works for sure with the Wacom Intuos Pro series (and legacy Intuos I think), the barrel rotation is read and transmitted by the tablet.

Note that the default tip is round unlike what is written (angled pen tip is not mandatory).

It adds the rotation-sensitive thing, and this changes the game for flat brush stroking: no need to twist your wrist with the azimut of the normal grip pen, you control the angle of the stroke just like a real flat brush ! Works for calligraphy pens as well !

Re: Suggestions

Sounds really nice. I'd image that's the 3rd tilt input and should be available to me, but without the pen I can't quite work this in properly.
Thanks for the info, though!

Re: Suggestions

That's sweet, thanks! But I couldn't work like that, haha... blindly doing stuff and asking if it's alright until it finally is...ney, ney, ney, hehe!
But, really, thanks! Besides, the whole forum here is alpha/beta testing... ;)

Re: Suggestions

Hi,Taron.
Maybe you can give the "Right Mouse Click/Drag" a function? Like drag the canvas?
Hope this wil not bother you, you can just ignore if this is not a good idea.

Re: Suggestions

Middle mouse button does that already!
I'm pondering over making a right mouse menu of sorts, not sure, yet.
