definitely fun experiments. I am still not done with Mr. Sun. I like some parts of it like the eyes but it doesn't hold together as well as it should. Original Sun was much more appealing. But I may take it to another iteration. The final version of Mr. Sun didn't appeal to me. The background for it started as Waves and ended in the landscape.
Taron, I wouldn't agonize too much over the crash during save. You know my inclination towards saving insanely huge files. I should have saved much earlier and eliminated layers I didn't need. I took it too far past the point of the last save. I also should have saved a png. The resolution was 2235x1527 with 5 layers. The Abby 3 save was 102 mbs. I am estimating that the project at the point I tried to save at was maybe 150 to 200. I have figured out how to push past that point tho and save the project. Photoshop, select image with selection tool. Cut it out of the screenshot and then back to Verve for repairing in mirror mode ie getting rid of the saving project notification.

Ctrl W super powerful. Very relaxing pushing things around 
I think it's mild arthritis and I am not even close to finishing the shading around the eyes and elsewhere. Getting old sucks but it beats the alternative
