i Loved freehand-drawing and freehand-writhing since i was a kid, and after several tests i can sketch with any paint tool and they are different from one and other... but we have not many writhing softwares ... after many years i found inkscape calligrapher tool and i tested and exercise with it from zero to now ... i found it to be the best choice for classic looks calligraphy, but it had its limits too.
...and now with several tests with verve i'm certain that i can write with it maybe even better than other ones.
calligraphy have a great value in my culture. a type of pray. a tool for happiness. a wing for travel and a choice for time.
... their subjects are usually from jeremiads, panegyrics, prays & doctrine ...

i test with any clear and free brush and style both of writing & drawing ... too similar for start.
but calligraphy need special state and drawing need different feels.
both of them need warming up ... after one of them warms i cant change my rail because its the creative time & need centralization and step by step exercise
... forms are friends and brothers together. after start and hello, they have same rules for create ... some from mind, some randomize, some history and real and very very exercise
and about my way to writing... its fastest way for drawing ... fastest and may easiest!
i like a paradox when it help me : )
