Re: [Video] Verve Painting With Fluid on a Spinning Canvas

A couple years back we raised $8.5M on Kickstarter.

We've paid out $1M to indie developers through our FTG fund.

Two years later... we are fast approaching publishing our 1000th game.

Some minor changes like a better controller and it's up to the developer if they want to be free to try or a premium game.

And my part where I made a bunch of plugins for a bunch of game engines to work on the OUYA.

This is very cool Tim. I love consoles although I confess to being more of a PC gamer. But this is outstanding!
Motherboard -Asus Rampage IV Extreme
CPU - i7-3930k @ 3.2 GHZ (overclocked - 4.5)
Ram - 64 gigs Kingston Hyper Beast
GPU - 2 Nvidia 1080 GTX running in SLI

I did make a video playlist for all the games I've recorded while playing.

Oh dear, hehe, man, that must be rough?! I mean, it's cool to have almost like an Amiga flashback with this thing, but I'm very happy for you guys to have such a success with it!
Well, it certainly gave me a nostalgic moment form various eras prior to the turn of the millennium and even some of the kongregate and GameJolt times I've had. Guess there's something to be said about having those things on a small box and hooked to the tv.

Anyway, thanks for sharing, Tim! :ob

Re: [Video] Verve Painting With Fluid on a Spinning Canvas

The real trick is the OUYA (quad-processor) fast enough to run Verve. Android runs Gles which is a stripped down version of OpenGL. And you might be using a lot of GPU features which would require using the Tegra 3 hardware hooks.

Although we do support emulators, I mainly play it for all the other games.
