(sorry, folks, for upbringing ancient (by internet's standards) threads;
i am on my quest of complete exploration of verve forum artworks, from the very beginnings; idea is to see what was around here all the time)
I must say that this one, and seemingly so far the only one verve painting from the artist, really catches the eye. Water
At first, thought i was gonna state that i do not quite like to full satisfaction one place in this verve-painting - the lower right part where you can see sharp, rough, too rough
brush moves which abruptly deforms water. But after longer looking, it started to remind and invite to interpret image as if that would be some sort a rough real-time game
engine computer graphics scene with really great stylistic, specific shading and aliasing setup. And in that sense image becomes so great, so atmospheric indeed! The movements
in water mass is intense, very readable (be it by intention or by accident - which is also part of what verve is, isn't it

!!)
I like what i see here. Clouds, water, mass movements. By twisting imagination you can force yourself even to start seeing as if this scene could be a sort of a underwater angle look
with strong, dramatic caustic effects being as visual optical effect in a scene.
Incredibly! Drawing with big interpretative freedom yet constrains to recognizable theme of ocean, water and clouds.
Artist probably is gone from the forum but i think this drawing can still be digitally 'celebrated', so to speak

We can only hypothetically guess, what sort of his other works could be like. This initial work gives out only vague clues of his artistic signature.
