Yes, here it is... version v0.99v.31 has arrived, just in time to still greet the new year 2018!
[Ctrl]+[L] brings up the brand new Color Correction Unit "LAYER FX"... read more above!
I can almost promise you, that it will do weird stuff, but I can also promise you that it can work beautifully, too. I've encountered only a few weird things that I yet have to figure out, such as an occasional jumping of handles on the histogram and you may observe certain clippings, if you go for extreme "curve handle" squeezes.
I'm assuming that most of it is fairly obvious, except possibly the handles on the histogram. You have 5 handles on it. The first and the last are most obvious. With those you can move the darkest colors and brightest colors to where you want to have them. You can even invert it manually. The center handle allows you to shift the center value around. But then there are the two magical handles around the center handle. Those are bias handles. The upper and the lower half of the histogram can be biased independently, allowing you to do curve like operations to control contrast for each channel.
Besides the brightness and all color channels you also have the material channel. This one is the spookiest of them all and it ignores the Blend dial! It allows you to modify the paint buildup on your layer, making some fascinating things possible!
All in all, I already beg your forgiveness for some potential weirdness. I also haven't tested it on ATI or Intel, yet, but I am assuming it should work just fine?!
I hope, you will enjoy this and I wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
