Re: Dev Diary

I'm delighted to see that Verve is still being worked on - though saddened that Taron hasn't made another YouTube video, his voice is genuinely soothing!

Whilst I'm here, and this reaction is probably about a year late, but I've always wondered... What happened to brush 9? It was my favourite brush as a mouse user, but the most recent update made it quite... Explodey!

Re: Dev Diary

Hmm...well...let me start with a MASSIVE THANK YOU, haha, that's super sweet! I'm really waiting to have my next version ready before making new videos, you know. There will be so much to show and I'm planning to finally have something I can make proper tutorials for. 8-)

But...ahm...I'm not sure what happened there, but it should still work just the same with the mouse as before?! :? ...when I play around with it here, it acts quite smoothly.
I hope you don't mind me asking which version you say acts differently? ...and are you sure you haven't changed anything on your system, like a new mouse or so? Different mice (?) can act very, very differently. My Logitech mouse acts much finer and smoother than an old DELL mouse (I somehow still have flying around here for unknown reasons?!), for example. The mouse speed has to be adjusted severely. Anyway, just wondering. But it's a good reminder to make some more things adjustable in the next versions! :ob

Re: Dev Diary

wetness just ignore!
perception is for the desaturation. It tries to maintain the color's perceived intensity, when you turn the image black and white, you know!
Just make a set of red, green, blue, yellow and violet strokes, for example and then desaturate it and then play with perception.
It's just a test which I will later make individually customizable, probably.
You may also load a color photo and test it with that! ;)

Merry Christmas to you, too!
