Size varies with speed not pressure

Hopefully I'm not posting something that has already been asked and answered, I used the search function and couldn't find any other posts dealing with my exact problem.

I have a Cintiq 24UX and I do a lot of work in Painter as well as Mischief (another cool new drawing program), for some reason in Verve (0.99u.34) no matter what combination of toggles I use I cannot get pressure to vary my brush size. The only way the size increases is with the velocity of the stroke. Opacity works fine.

Other info
Windows 7 64bit SP1
8GB RAM
Intel Core i7-3610QM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M

Any info would be appreciated, so far this program looks full of potential and I'd like to play around more, thanks Taron for working on developing this!

Re: Size varies with speed not pressure

Sorry it turned out at some point my Wacom drivers had crashed today and I hadn't realized it, it's a real pain in the butt.

Rather than delete my post I thought I'd share my experience and how to resolve it.

First, if you're not sure whether your driver has crashed or not try opening the Wacom Tablet Properties program, if it says no tablets connected then your drivers crashed.
To fix this open Services, find the "Wacom Professional Service" and restart it. After this you may have to turn your Cintiq off then back on, it should work afterwards.

This seems to occur after using photoshop.

That was exactly the right decision to keep the post! :ob
Welcome to the forum, J, and you scared me there a little bit, hahaha! :? 8-)

I'm really curious how Verve feels on a good Cintiq. The companion drove me bonkers, but with a proper machine behind it I could imagine it to be quite amazing!? :)

Thanks for sharing and I'm really happy you've got it worked out! c:!
Here to help! :D
