Verve funky after malware removal

Heeeeeelp!
Verve is acting funky after I used Malwarebytes to remove a bunch of malware viral garbage that installed itself on my windows 7 bootcamp.
Malwarebytes seems to have removed all the nasty software and windows and other programs seems normal.
But Verve is acting funny…..the screen flickers and glitches, keys don't do anything and then they work for a moment, n key functions sporadically.
Even the mouse cursor is doing this funny thing where it flips back and forth as if mirroring …and the flicker seems to be on a cycle sort of.
I re installed the wacom driver but thats not it, same problem with just trackpad….Im wondering if the nvidia driver or open gl might have been corrupted.
Any suggestions gurus?
ITs only verve that has this problem….I suspect its because it runs off the video card unlike other programs?
THanks for any help

Re: Verve funky after malware removal

Yes, something happened with your machine (OS and potentially hardware, but read on...).
You should try reinstalling the graphics drivers, but also use the windows malicious software removal tool instead of any 3rd party tool. I do not trust any 3rd party, because logic dictates that it's not in their interest that you are "virus free", you see. Microsoft, however, should be VERY interested in having your OS free of viruses or other malware (except their own, of course, hahaha).
SO...
Try to clean up your system and use the windows internal tools!
Then reinstall the graphics drivers!

If you have bizarre flickers like loads of little squares with flickering patterns, then turn off your machine, check your card, especially the cooling fans, because you might have overheated it and it's about to die!
That does not explain the mouse movements, though, which are rather a potential virus or other corrupted files on your machine.
My rule of a happy computer life: Never use 3rd party tools to mess with your system! (registry cleaners, malware removers, virus killers, any of that crap. THEY CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT YOUR PROBLEMS!)

I cannot understand, why humans hate each other so much, that they never shy away from harming each other for some ridiculously undeserved and temporary gain. But I won't get too philosophical now. I just hope that we soon find to respect and consciously appreciate each other to benefit from the true powers each one of us has and can offer in order to reveal even more powers in those around us!
Here to help! :D

Re: Verve funky after malware removal

Thanks Taron
I was afraid to mess with the video driver but Ill have to try it.
Interesting comment on who to trust….I fully agree when you put it that way!
As a Mac user I have literally NEVER experienced a virus on my computer. Weird for windows people I know.
I thought I was downloading a DIVX codec from the microsoft site for media player
and all of a sudden…kaboom…I see crazy downloading and didn't know how to stop it.
Anyway….I did stop and ponder WTF is wrong with people….who does stuff like this!@#$%^
Thats the last time I will be downloading anything on windows.
