Those look beautiful, Zero! Somehow "Random 46" really feels like an otherworldly thunderstorm, seen from up in the air. Great stuff! c:! :ob

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Hi, I am kind of late to the party. Did learn about Vervette this year - and I am loving it.
I post my stuff mostly on my artworks thread in the galleries section but I would like to share this with you here as well (sorry for the cross post :ud: ... but I took the image url and did not upload it twice ;-)

Now there's a cool Vervette debut! Thanks, Dines! c:! :ob
I'm really starting to get anxious to release some evolution, because it already is so much more than what's online. But it will come...

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Hi, is there a way to set a white background rather than grey. I know the background can be filled with white but that still has a light grey tone. Does any one know if there a way to get a proper white background please?

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

OOOoohhhh, you mean, can you turn off the light, haha. Thanks, TJ, I saw your question in my gmail. Sorry I missed it here, and weird. :?
First of all: Welcome to the forum!

And now, both Verve and Vervette use lighting to show the canvas and that's why white looks like it wasn't full white (255,255,255 or 1.0,1.0,1.0). Instead it is multiplied by the light, it's angle and distance to the canvas and, of course, it's color and intensity.
In Vervette you can just turn off the light. In Verve you can achieve the same by setting the ambient color to white and the light color to black, but then you will not have lighting and won't see any bumps in the paint, of course. If you went really wild, you could try and adjust both ambient and light to result in a white canvas, while the paint still shows lighting.

Anyway, what are you trying to do, why do you need this? Because maybe I can help more concretely, if I know what you are after, you know.
