Ehh...hmmm...windows keyboard has a "Print Scrn/SysRq" key. If you hit it, it captures the whole desktop. If you hold [Alt] and hit it, it only captures the currently active window.
Also, if...oh, I should try that, but if you copy an image from a website, for example, it should work, too. Any copy action sends data to the clipboard.
