Re: IMPLEMENT, IMPLEMENT!

Oh boy, i sure didn't mean to make you growl  i just remembered the birds while playing around with the new drying :?
Because, the trailing edge looks JUST like that, ... already?
Image
See, i thought "Wet Canvas" ment THAT look but on an empty acnvas? ... A fill with transparent/alpha fluid so to speak ... if that then was masked ...
Anyway ... i was tired  ... So, you ment to separate the canvas fluidity from the applyed paint's fluidity? .. i still don't quite get it :?
In any event, ... i love the new drying.

Uhm, i dont see why this should be awkward at all ... i am certain that we all would love to support the development!

Ive been thinking about that actually ... How about you contact Valve and get Verve up for Steam's "Early Access"?
http://store.steampowered.com/earlyaccessfaq/?snr=1_200_200_Early+Access

Would be an instant exposure to millions of people ... Gamer in fact, so they sure bring the right hardware. ;)

They do feature several Graphic programms already ... ArtRage among others

Honestly though, overall, i personally think more people would have use for an Applink for that amazing color picker you described so vividly than a paint program.
That way, you could keep verve completely free, you know.

And seeing how much we all love your Demos, i thought you maybe, could offer some drawing tutorials with like a "Pay what you want" method like the "Humble Bundle" does.
That is a really fair way, too ... people like it ... It's like a donation, but you get a little something for it ... Some musicians also sell their albums on their websides that way now, too.

Re: IMPLEMENT, IMPLEMENT!

Kay, this one feels, Vervy ;) ... i thought about it before but the ocean scene brought it in fresh perspective, now ... Uhm so, i often place a stroke of which i only like sections (on many occasions, but especially my darling #8 likes to screw up, sumwhere :? ) ... i then either have to undo it entirely or leave it and try to repair the areas i liked better before.
Could you make it so that you have a, one stroke buffer running? There would be a shortcut and if you hold it you can locally bring the picture back to the state it was in before the last Stroke/Smudge/Action you made.
Much like the Warp-eraze, you know? A one action undo like we have now, but masked so to say, applied with the brush only to a desired area?
Tl;dr i would like to draw my undo. :D :D :D

Re: IMPLEMENT, IMPLEMENT!

You mean... simply an "undo brush"? that sounds very doable and is on my "todo" list (which doesn't exist). 8-)

 :D
Ahm, you mean a designated brush that does nothing but undo? ... Hmmh, that would be close but, i think one would get much more out of it, if it was a state/mode so you can use any brush/setting?
If it was truly per pixel, you'd get very different results useing #1 or #8, you know :D ... Maybe, if i could set the "Undo-Brush" up to be like on of the others, it would work. Seems more messy though?
In any event, i really am very happy that you like this one, dude :D :D :D i picture it to work very well for "sharp edge/blurry fade" shapes like clouds ect. 8-)
